I began Sailing at the age of  seven on Lake Michigan in the Chicago area. I instantly fell in love with water, sailing, and boats.  I spent my younger years racing Sunfish, Hobies, and Windsurfers on Lake Michigan.

I hold a 50 ton USCG Masters License with both towing and sailing endorsements. I have delivered, sailed, and raced yachts internationally. I hold a current US Sailing Safety at Sea certification and an American Heart Association First Aid certification.

My Sail and Yacht Racing experience includes numerous races such as The Trans Pacific Race to Hawaii, The Caribbean 600, The San Diego to Puerto Vallarta Race, The San Francisco Big Boat Series, The Spinnaker Cup, The Chicago to Mackinac Race, The Port Huron to Mackinac Race, The Trans Superior Race and numerous others. Yachts that I have delivered include Santa Cruz 70, Santa Cruz 52, TP 52, Andrews 68, NM 50, Farr 47, Beneteau 40.7, Alden 38 Challenger, Sydney 41, and many more.

In addition to yacht delivery and racing, RG Sails also provides sail repair, canvas repair, canvas fabrication, yacht management, and yacht systems repair.
